MAJOR SHOW WINS FOR AERIE DOGSWe are very proud to report that two of our co-bred dogs have had some major wins too. Can Ch Wolfhvn Don’t Go Brakin My Heart (Caper’s mom) is the top Irish Wolfhound in Canada. She is proudly owned by Donita Osborne. We also co-bred the Best of Breed Winner at the Irish Wolfhound Club of America, Kerryarc Fast Cars, proudly owned by Mandy Tyler and Carson Collier. In April 2008, Irish Wolfhound Club of America – Guffaw won the Bred-by class and went on to Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Bred-by (her second Best Bred-by). Her mother, Giggles won the Brood Bitch Class and Quintus went second in the Stud dog class. Caper won her Sweeps class. Quintus kids reigned supreme in the sweeps, however, with Kellykerry Isolde of Aerie going Best in Sweeps and Herbie and Sandy Myer’s Emmit going Best of Opposite. In April 2008, Potomac Valley Irish Wolfhound Association – Giggles wins the veteran bitch class and went on to Best of Opposite Sex. Entry was Winners Bitch with Herbie and Sandy Myer’s Quintus son, Emmit, going Winners Dog and Best of Breed. Wolfhaven Hearthside Dan Aerie, whom we co-own with Carole Guilfoyle and Jim Todd was Reserve Winners Dog. Our Caper won her Sweeps class. Gibraltar of Aerie and Gatsby of Aerie (co-owned with Dane and Audrey St Clair) each won their respective classes. Quintus and Giggles won Stud Dog and Brood Bitch respectively. All and all and great show! October 2007, Irish Wolfhound Association of the Garden State – Quintus gets an Award of Merit with his son, Emmit, going Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Breed out of the 12-18 class. Gordon won the 12-18 sweepstakes class and went Reserve Winners Bitch out of the 12-18 class. Caper won both the 6-9 sweepstakes and 6-9 regular classes. Jager and Guffaw were second in Open and Bred-by. Herbie’s Quintus kids went Best in Sweeps (Emmit) and Best of Opposite in Sweeps (Peggy Sue). Quintus wins his third Stud Dog class this year and his get won the Brood Bitch class (Emmit and Peggy Sue-Herb and Sandy Myers). October 2007, Irish Wolfhound Club of the Delaware Valley – Entry won the Open Bitch class and goes on to Winners Bitch and Best of Winners. Wolfhaven’s Caper of Aerie won the 6-9 class and goes on to Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Puppy. Giggles was First in the Veteran Bitch class, Keystone wins the 12-18 class with Gatsby of Aerie going second to him. Guffaw won the Bred by class and went on to win Best Bred By Exhibitor. Her sister, Gibraltar went second in the Novice class. Quintus won the Stud dog class and his get won the Brood Bitch Class (Emmit and Peggy Sue-Herb and Sandy Myers). Peggy Sue was Best in Sweeps and first in the 9-12 bitch class and her brother Emmit was Best Of Opposite in Sweeps and first in the 9-12 dog class. September 2007, IERDIE Championship Club Match in the Netherlands – Giggles of Aerie wins the 9-18 month class and goes on to Best of Opposite Sex. June 2007, Bryn Mawr Kennel Club – Entry was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over specials for her first major. June 2007, Charlottesville - Albemarle Kennel Club, Inc. - Ypsilon wins Best of Breed Saturday and Sunday, Gordon was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex out of the 9-12 month class for her first major. April 2007, Irish Wolfhound Club of America – Gordon wins the 9-12 sweeps, 9-12 regular, Best Puppy and the Gait class. Ypsilon wins Open Dog. Guffaw wins the Novice class. April 2007, Potomac Valley Irish Wolfhound Club – Kelso wins the 6-9 sweeps class and regular class. Vesuvius and Jagger go first and second in the 9-12 sweeps with Vesuvius winning Best in Sweeps. Vesuvius wins the regular 9-12. Entry wins the Novice Class.December 2006, Quintus finishes his AKC Championship with 5 majors and a group four. October 2006, Irish Wolfhound Association of New Jersey—Quintus is Reserve Winners dog. October 2006, Irish Wolfhound Club of the Delaware Valley – Pitlochry’s Ypsilon is 1st Open dog and Reserve Winners dog. Pitlochry’s Entry is Best in Sweeps with a record entry. Guffaw wins a very large (30+-) 12-18 class. Jager wins 6-9 puppy sweeps class. August 2006, Irish Wolfhound Club of New England – Pitlochry’s Ypsilon is 1st Open dog and Reserve Winners dog.
